Introduction to Painting in Watercolor and Acrylic

Each evening class will begin with an introduction to painting materials and technique practices. Students will each be given a small watercolor sketchbook during the first class to practice technique demonstrated with the instructor. Instructor will also demonstrate a different project each week. Projects will include botanical, watercolor, painting, abstract, painting, color theory, using acrylic paint and a final project of the students choice.
A new painting technique and project will be demonstrated and introduced each week. All students will have the remaining time of class to work independently on their projects with available to guide and answer any questions.

Advanced Beginning Painting
in Watercolor and Accidentally

**Painting 2: Expanding Techniques in Acrylic & Watercolor** This **six-week** course is designed for students who have taken **Painting 1** or have some basic painting experience. We'll deepen our exploration of **layering, texture, composition, and personal style development** in both acrylic and watercolor. Each session will introduce new techniques and guided projects while allowing room for individual creativity. Students will work on both structured exercises and personal projects!
